This has just become my best-selling picture.
Best selling in that I’ve sold 3 of them. I think that’s pretty good though. Selling a photo as art is nigh on impossible unless you are Crewdson or some such. Which I’m not.
Canon New F1 – Needles, dials, aperture priority, joy
I’ve been building my Canon film SLR collection. My latest acquisition, all the way from Japan and all the way from 1981, is a New F1. And it’s probably the best of the lot.
(When I say New F1, it is new to me, and it’s an F1. But it’s also a New F1, as opposed to an F1, or an F1n AKA the F1 later model. Canon… sort out your naming conventions…)

Mystery Canon Lucky Z-85 – Update: mystery solved
Here’s a camera the interweb hasn’t heard about. It’s not listed in the Canon camera museum. Perhaps it’s not even a real Canon. (Update: It isn’t. See below.)
It’s a point and shoot zoom labelled ‘Canon Lucky Z-85’. It’s even got a ‘Lucky’ branded case.
